This month we're going to try meat substitutes. I'm going to try making golash and spaghetti/meatballs/sausage with tofu or tempeh, if I can find some. We'll see how these experiments go, might not get to do a lot as far as that goes. Our lease is up 1st of April and we need to find a new place... No luck so far, but it is only the 7th.
Just a place for me to put those things that I like or want to share with my family and friends. I might even post some of the papers I write for English Comp. or even some of the stories I'm writing.

To be Vegetarian or not to be....
So Jamie and I have made a drastic change to our diet. I've felt loads better since we cut out most meats. We wanted to see how we felt before making a full change. We started by cutting out cows milk and just using soy milk, Cyan and Wilson like it. I started using it in my pancake batter and they come out even fluffier than before. Next step is to substitute the eggs for pureed extra-firm tofu.

It's a Girl!!

So, we found out two weeks ago that the baby's a girl. We figured that it would be, just look at the pattern. I think we've finally decided on a name. I really wanted to use a name that started with 'I' this time around and I was kinda leery about using the one I liked the best because the daughter of a girl I work with has a similar name. I was thinking Izumi for awhile, I do like the name and think it's elegant and delicate, but still wasn't the one I really liked. I couldn't think of a middle name that I liked that went well with it either.
But this Sunday mom asked me what name I really like was and told her Isabella Marie was my favorite choice, but I was just worried that no matter what people would call her "Bella" and I don't want her nickname to be Bella!! I want to call her "Izzy"! I'm thinking that maybe changing the 's' for a 'z' would be a nice variation for the spelling of the name. I like Marie the best for a middle name, there are others that I like but I kinda wanted a name that spoke mostly of her Italian heritage. And I love my sisters middle name... :)
